Waiting For A Bluebell Drip

That's the name of this House Mouse stamp. I think it is so cute.

This card is for this week's copycatcards challenge which is to use a punch and a stamp. I stamped the image twice and coloured them with watercolour paints, then used my heart punch to punch out a few bits of one of the images.

Don't Croak

Love this frog - love most frogs, I think they're gorgeous creatures. I did it for the challenge here on A Lil' Bit of Me. The card was to have green and ribbon on it. This is meant to be a get well card. :-) The frog is clipart from Microsoft Publisher and I used my Cuttlebug for the background again.

Teabag Note

This was done for this week's copycatcards challenge "It's Hip to be Square", meaning we couldn't use anything round on it. I hope letters don't count. :-)

It's just a simple teabag fold, and a pretty post-it note for the background.

Glittery Swirly Mushroom

Another card with the cuttlebug! Just a simple one. I did this quickly last night. I had stamped, coloured in and cut out the mushroom a while ago so I just had to stick it to a card. I like the sparkles, which are much easier to see in the big picture.

Hang In There

I first tried my Cuttlebug out on this green piece of card, using the Divine Swirl embossing folder, and when I saw it I thought of frogs and lizards. So, that's what I've used it for.

The frog is clipart from Microsoft Publisher. I think he is so cute!

This card fits with this week's copycatcards challenge too I think, which is to Be Creative and have a title matching a picture, or written in a clever way, etc.

My First Cuttlebug Card

We went into the city yesterday and I bought a Cuttlebug for myself as an early birthday present. I also got 2 embossing folders to use with it (present from Mum and Dad). The one I used here is called "Textile". I went over the raised bits with white pencil.

The card itself was inspired by this week's sketch on i{heart}2stamp. The poodle is from "Meet Me at the Cafe" from My Favourite Things, and the orange Rhinestones were a freebie thrown in with an order from Scrapsidaisy. Such a lovely surprise!

Heart Box

This box was originally black and shiny, and held little jellies from a drug rep back when I worked at the Drs Surgery. I got the idea to cover it like this from the Patchwork and Stitching website.

I did it ages ago but I can't remember if I showed anybody.

I love the green paisley fabric. I painted a decorative band around the box to sort of match it.

Wellness Wishes

I made this one for Nan, for when she is in hospital. It also fits with this week's copycatcards challenge, which is to make a get well card.

I am not sure what I think of it - I did some doodling and I think I like it, but not sure. Not sure about the writing. I know for sure Dad wouldn't be impressed with the writing. :-)

The stamp I used was the heart from Boho Blossoms by My Favourite Things.

Paisley Howdy

I stamped the background of this with the Paisley stamp I carved out of a jumbo eraser. Then I coloured bits in white. It reminded me of a bandanna then, so I did a Howdy greeting for it.

I've Been Tagged

Well, this blog was originally for family and friends, but it's been seen by a few more people now and that's fine. It's nice to have comments actually. :-)

4 radioshows: None

4 favourite foods: Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, Fountain Tomato Sauce, Chicken Schnitzel, Chips

This would be interesting to look back on in a few years I think, see how some of the things have changed.

Little One

I made this one for a challenge on CraftyB. It had to have a cute image and have red on it. I used the zebra from my very cute Zoo-Ped-I-Doo-Da stamp from Stamp-It, and used my Boho Blossoms stamp to make the background on the red.

Along with lots of flowers and rhinestones I used two ribbons: black stitched, and then a thin white one that I coloured in red on top of that.
